Hi Jason, I've just started to really dig into the program in the last week or so and am loving it so far. Thanks for the time you spend creating it.
Quick question: do your demo videos cover how the "labels" section functions for Works? I can't find it in my notes or by jumping through the videos, though maybe I just need to watch them over. Asking because I'd like to know whether it's possible to add keywords to the information for a work, so that I can sort or find by keyword. For example, if I read a paper on fMRI methods, I could add an "fMRI" keyword or label to the work, so that I could search the database by that keyword and bring up all the papers I've read on fMRI methods. Or something like that.
Hopefully this makes sense! Thanks again.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Importing work PDFs .................. 2:58
Multiple PDF files for a single work record .................. 5:12
Multiple work records for a single PDF file .................. 6:08 Work labels .................. 8:58
Miscellaneous (non-work) files .................. 9:49
File Manager .................. 11:01
Accessing and searching for files: .................. 13:15
That was posted in the description for the video but you have to click "show more" on the description.
In my personal database, I created a Term record for "fMRI", and papers on fMRI methods are assigned as Key Works (discussed at 12:07 in the Introductory tutorial); this achieves a similar result but also allows you to add your own definition/notes to the record, as well as a search keyword that links instances of, e.g., "fMRI" back to that record. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Jason
