[Hyperic-hq-discuss] dashboard doesnt update for down agent in resonable time

I have created an alert for the hyperic client agent on a remote system to email me 
when its availability changes. I have availability changed to 1 min intervals . Yet the dashboard doesnt upgrade for much more than 1 minute. I see this primarily on remote windows clients that the dasboard doesnt update quickly.  Also when looking at the platform of the machine where the client was stopped under the RESOURCES column the various 
parts of the Platform services health update to red at different times . Why NOT all at the same time.  What goes into the how often  the dashboard is updated ??? If i click on a specific 
favorite resource the availability graph show red but the dashboard under the Favorite resource is still green ??
