Unfortunately when I telent to solaris box . I dont get a login or anything and it doesnt accept HEAD / HTTP/1.0 . So I guess your saying its using the HEAD command to test web site ???? /usr/bin/telnet 130.202.177.20 80 Trying 130.202.177.20... Connected to 130.202.177.20. Escape character is '^]'. HEAD / HTTP/1.0 get me NOTHING back .
