Really sorry to hear that you ran into this issue.  This was logged in our Jira:

Truthfully, your database may have been left in an inconsistent state.  We may be able to walk you through the diagnosing the database state and do some manual cleanups.  However, we just released our 3.0.2 maintenance release today!  So if you were going to re-import the platforms, I might recommend that you consider re-installing using 3.0.2, which has resolved this issue (among others).
