StorNext file system I/O reads and writes are being reported as 0 at all times by Hyperic. I have been trying to trace through to find out the reason, and it appears to be an issue with the SIGAR iostat command. SIGAR iostat reports all of our other file systems correctly, and the linux iostat is reporting device usage correctly even for devices used for the StorNext file systems. I was trying to find the source code to see what is attempting, but I could not trace it all the way through. For example I cannot find the DiskUsage.java file.
Does anyone know why the StorNext I/O is not being reported correctly? If not can you point me to the source code locations?
