#4225 [HHQ-4106] vSphere monitoring agent hogging CPU on vCenter s

HQ Agent running on a vCenter Server platform that managed hundreds of VMs across tens of ESX hosts is hogging CPU cycles. Attached is a snapshot of agent java process CPU performance. The range of data is for initial 20 minutes after vCenter server is configured and agent starts auto discovering VMs/Hosts. For the first 12 minutes average CPU usage was above 70%. After that it is 42%.


Need to investigate with thread(s) are hogging CPU.


Note: There's another 4.3 agent on the same system monitoring everything except vCenter server and its average CPU utilization is below 5%.
