InetAddress Ping reporting incorrectly

Example1


All ping probes are measuring 5ms, no matter where they are in the world. See attached chart

64 bytes from 12.193.178.6: icmp_seq=2 ttl=232 time=172 ms


64 bytes from 12.193.178.6: icmp_seq=3 ttl=232 time=174 ms


64 bytes from 12.193.178.6: icmp_seq=4 ttl=232 time=179 ms


64 bytes from 12.193.178.6: icmp_seq=5 ttl=232 time=176 ms


64 bytes from 12.193.178.6: icmp_seq=6 ttl=232 time=172 ms


64 bytes from 12.193.178.6: icmp_seq=7 ttl=232 time=168 ms

Example2 (in-house)


Response Time is ~90 ms from inetaddress ping in HQ, but a ping of the server from command line the gives a RT is less then 1 ms. This is the oppisite of what is happening in example 1

Issue seems to be measuring Response Time in ms. (Note: Response time in seconds seems to work fine)
