Thanks Alex,  
We have got that in and working now, the images are fine and don't 
disappear in my installation.  We'll need to have a look at file 
browsing for images and links at some point but it already does more 
than before.

Just got to get  LDAP  authentication working now (which I understand 
might not be easy)
