Environment: Mac OS X Tomcat 5.0.27 uPortal 2.4.2 HyperContent 1.4 I'm just getting started and pretty much just exploring the out-of-the-box system, and am basically wondering what I need to do to get a complete working system to try out. I have the repository configured, so that when I login to uPortal and create the Content Manager channel, I can see the "HyperContent Projects Definitions". When I click into that, the top nav has Search | Browse | Admin. I can click on the New button for a project and create one. When I clink on the new project, I still have the top nav above. Below that is the title of my project. Below that is a nav that has only Permissions. Below, the Description. Below, a nav that has Create | Copy/Move | Admin | Revisions, and below that, the Project New button. It looks like I'm missing a lot of functionality, as compared to the screenshots in the HyperContent 1.4 manual. I don't have any Build or Publish control. I don't see a way to create content (only projects), get to the WYSIWYG editor, etc. I didn't do much with the build.properties and Projects.xml. The latter only has the <repository> defined. Am I supposed to set up <preview>, <build> and <publish> as in the manual section on Developing Sites describes? Or, should those other nav choices already be there? Thanks for your help! ==Leonard E. Sitongia Web Engineering Group National Center for Atmospheric Research P.O. Box 3000 Boulder CO 80307 USA sit...@uc... voice: (303)497-2454 fax: (303)497-1804 |
