Glad to hear things are running smoothly. Our systems group =
runs a=20
dedicated file server which we mount to our application servers; we=20
currently have our HyperContent repositories mounted on a number of=20
different machines. I actually recommend this approach - it is fast=20
and stable, and allows you to easily grow your server pool. We're=20
actually not using the local disks on our servers for anything except=20
logs at the moment - the web application, the repositories, and tomcat=20=
all live on the network storage device. I believe the file server is=20
from NetApp:
