I think this will be my last problem for a while.

I have created a new project, and I have created a user in uPortal (webmaster) and have assigned him all the rights to the new project.  The problem is that new projects do not show up in the project list.  What am I doing wrong now?

Read permission on a project's repository are required for the project to show up in the list; these are set by opening the project (as a portal administrator), and from the admin screen selecting permissions.  Every time a new project is created, its repository is accessible only to portal administrators until these permissions are assigned on it.  If you rename the project definition file, existing permissions will be lost, as they are keyed on the project definition file name, and are not currently updated if that file is moved.  Assigning permissions on a project's definition file does not give permissions on that project's repository.  Two sections in the manual relate to permissions, which may offer further clarification:

      http://hypercontent.sourceforge.net/docs/manual/manage/permissions.html

      and

      http://hypercontent.sourceforge.net/docs/manual/develop/permissions.html

Also, uPortal caches a user's permissions for the duration of their session, so if you change a user's permissions make sure that user logs out and back in for the permissions to take effect.

Let me know if that helps!
