Ok, here's a Mandrake spec file based on Austin Acton's spec for 0.9.1. Erm,
actually, I started with the sample given in the Mandrake RPM-HowTo and then
copied a bunch of stuff from his spec into it.
Anyway, it supports mimetypes with a few caveats.
1. It doesn't really. :)
2. Because Mandrake has a special mimetypes package for mimetypes not
recognized by KDE.
3. And I haven't figured out how to work around that, just yet.
I'm open to suggestions if anyone knows.
In any case, what it does do is create the mimetype association for
"application/hydrogen" on the app-lnk side of the fence and invokes Hydrogen
with the necessary commandline call that'll allow it to take a filename as a
Oh yeah, and it's obviously for Hydrogen-0.9.2.beta2. I can build Mandriva LE
2005 packages for you when you're ready to release new versions, you know, in
the future, now that I have this spec file built. In hindsight I would have
gotten it together faster if I'd've just started from Austin's, but I
wouldn't have learned as much as I did. :)
If you want to build with this specfile, you need to start with Austin's src
package. There are icons needed for it that are part of the build. I would
presume Austin has a script to do it, but I'll look at doing the necessary
copying inside the specfile so that all that'll be needed is a source tarball
of the program.
