Curious, as it installs correctly under Ubuntu 14.04 and Xubuntu 16.04

I make the deb using the script given with Harbour source, so I think 
you install just the debug deb, and not the core deb

You have to install harbour deb, and not harbour-dbg deb

If you use windows build, there is no source installed with core. So 
it's the same with linux version.
It's not my project, I just give deb packet for linux. I never had a 
look for contribs, but I suppose that the script to make deb includes 
contribs and all the files needed to use it.
