Hi! In the first thanks for responce. --- Оригінальне повідомлення --- Від кого: "Maurizio la Cecilia" <m.l...@gm...> Кому: "oleksa" <m.o...@uk...> Дата: 27 вересня 2012, 10:38:33 Тема: Re: [Hwgui-developers] suggestion to Admins > Hi Alexey, > could you explain why you think that it will be useful? > Do you find inconsistencies in last commits? I'm wrote before about the situations near the hwgui development, change not tested before commit to svn, they does for their needs, without discuss on dev list. > I'm asking because is a long time that I don't refresh my hwgui sandbox and I haven't any idea of the status of the library. > Basso just asked me yesterday to build a new package release. I don't think that hwgui is a stable now for the next release (maybe for xHarbour), and dev list not closed for discuss that. And this proves what I said - their needs. > I've no problem to create a branch and then merge, but I'm feeling that could generate some pain. > I just updated the repository to the new version provided by SourceForge but nobody read the sf mail asking to change the repository address to new one, after a fresh checkout. So, we have in living repository still the revision 1905 and in the old the next committed code. I read this message, and i read the next: ----- You will recieve another email when that import is complete. That means that you and any other developers should do a fresh checkout using the new repository location when it is ready (see the "code" tab). Please be aware that large repositories may take a long time. ----- do you receive the next email from sf for the ready status of that? I not. > > I signaled the problem to Basso and seems he have some error in committing. I'll test ASAP the status of the new repository. > Let me know your thoughts. The project is going through difficult times, but that does not mean that we should make any changes to make it appear that the project alive. > BR > Maurizio And another thing, I think administrators should take care of the project, monitor, advise, coordinate or not? So, I think it is better to experiment start another branch or create a new folk of project, maybe this will give new life to project. I'm understand that we are the people, and sometimes we have no free time, but would like to be a better for the project. Regards, Alexey Myronenko |
