Hi. I strongly disagree with the use of 3rd party libs when the same result could be obtained with compiler core functions. Just the code referred in hcontrol.prg is easily replaceable with a little change employing the canonical At() function and a local variable. In addition the involved piece of code isn't optimized at all and should be anyway revised. I'll wait for Basso opinion before to make any change. Hi. I think that the core of harbour/xharbour is formed by the native rtl (giving Clipper code compatibility) and by the *language* extensions (hashes, class management, etc.). Any library that adds support function isn't part of the language and I consider them as 3rd part. I see that in xHarbour (and wrongly, IMHO) ct is considered a core library, but in Harbour (and I think rightly) is a contrib library. Anyway, what I strongly disagreed is to force the user to link a library to use functions that could be emulated by native compiler code without loss of effectiveness and in more readable form. ATTOKEN is not a function relating to xHarbour
was used to simplify the CODE
EX
SubStr ("oclass:oNome" ATTOKEN ("oclass:oNome", ":")) RETURNS oNome
SubStr ("oclass: osbuclass:oNome" ATTOKEN (oclass: osubclass:oNome, ":"))
RETURNS oNome
But if it is difficult to build in an environment we can remove ATTOKEN

And if you so want use ct.lib in few places, then use #ifdef __XHARBOUR__

Hi! Yes, ct.lib is part of the core, but only for xHarbour. Don't forget this! And try read the doc: 1.1. What is HwGUI HwGUI is an add-on library for Harbour and xHarbour, intended for creating GUI applications. And problem not in designer, but in all code where you will include hwgui.lib, try compile any sample in the first. Simply accept the proposal of Maurizio! (and anyway in Harbour isn't), but this in effects is usefulness.
The true question is: why to use AtToken()?
And in addition: can a symbol to be both a class var AND a dbf field?
(... I think not...)
I think that a code as:
