Hurby - plugin based private data remove / News: Recent posts

I released the final 0.1 version of Hurby.
Here are the major changes:

+ options dialog added, you can now turn off the version-check
+ auto-update function integrated, for those who use the version-check function
* improved exception handling in the main program

The version check is now off per default, as i thought that many people wont like a privacy-improving-software that tries to call home as soon as you start it.

I fixed the exception handling for plugin-configuration.
If the config file for a plugin was missing, an unhandled exception was thrown from the plugin. Now this is handled.

I released beta 3 of Hurby. I changed that ugly plugin-loading method, modified the total-commander plugin and added a plugin for cleaning eMule's search history.
As the name of the plugin-class has changed, all plugins have changed. I'm too tired to mess around with the SF file-release system, so i will update the Plugin-Section of the download page within the next days.

I just noticed that i forgot to fix the plugin-loading routine. The method is very ugly because it tries to type-cast EVER class from the plugin to a plugin_base-class (what, of course doesn't work if you plugin has definitions of classes that are not inherit from the plugin-base class). I'll fix this in the next version, which will also have an auto-update feature. Whatever, i'll fix the method in the svn within the next days.

I added a svn-repository for this project, SVN is now available under https://hurby.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/hurby

I released a second beta version with an improved plugin-interface. Additionally i coded a new plugin for cleaning the winamp.m3u(8) files created by Winamp everytime it quits.

Well, i had some time tonight, so here is a beta-version of the software. I improved the GUI a little bit. Now a check is performed if a plugin is configured well before calling its run method.

I just released the first alpha-version of the software.

- windows recent-documents cleaner
