Hi,

Is the indication of the number of rules really
necessary in the headers? It seems to me that it can
easily computed.

And what happens when the number is wrong (too many, or
too few)? That is not documented.

Thanks a lot,

Frederik

MySpell/Hunspell format uses portable and readable "machine
code". It's handy for the programmers, and encourages the
dictionary developers to use clever preprocessors/front ends
for difficult morphology. (My colleague, Trón Viktor has
developed a general preprocessors, called Hunlex.)

When affix file contains wrong number(s), Hunspell loads
only the dictionary file (and writes out an error message).

    Thanks for your questions,

    Laci
