Thanks, that explains why others seemed to be getting this to work. The computer I mostly use the extension on does not have a local server installed. I have since found that using the 'Page Source' option will do the validation without changing the general enable/disable; however 0.8.3.5 seems to be working just fine, so I'll probably just stick with that for now.
