It seems to be a bug in Tidy. http://tidy.sourceforge.net/
Can you try to see if the problem is there in the last version
of the library and if not log a bug there. Tidy has his own
bug system.

I could do it for you or help you. The problem is that I have a lot
of personal stuff to do in the last and next coming months and this
extension is free. It is difficult for me to justify all the time I will
loose, that I can not spend with my family, to fix a problem like this...

So, please log a bug in tidy to get it fixed. Send me the bug number
And it will come back in the extension automatically when I will
take the last build of tidy.
