[Htmlvalidator-help] Firefox HTML Validator 0.7.9.3 Crash with ACAD website

Thought I should let you know that when visiting 
(http://www.acad.ab.ca/) (Alberta College of Art and Design) the HTML 
Validator extension for Firefox crashes the browser.  I have since had 
to add the website to the "Don't Validate This Page" list otherwise the 
browser will crash every time somebody visits the site from my computer 
(which happens reasonably regularly because my girlfriend attends the 
school).

This is a new website that has recently been launched and appears to be 
a random mishmash of xhtml and HTML 4.

Despite the fact that the website seems poorly designed and was written 
without thought for HTML standards, it should not crash the client 
(Firefox with HTML Validator extension).  Hope you can help.
