Hi Michel, I got this mail some time ago by Kim -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FWIW, the 0.63 extension for FreeBSD works fine for me in Firefox 1.5.0.3. I installed it using Nightly Tester Tools to override the version checker. I went ahead and tried to compile 0.79 according to your instructions... it seemed to compile fine but it keep complaining of a library missing. Dunno what I did wrong. I followed your direction to produce debug output but no dice. Probably wasn't loading enough to even do that. Let me know if you want a FreeBSD environment to compile on, or if there's anything else I can do to help. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also, Kamikaze is trying to get it 0.8x compiled on FreeBSD. Marc Ps: I CC to the mailing list if you want to discuss about it Michael D'Agosta wrote: > Hello, > > I've used the HTML Validator for Firefox and loved it... now I find myself on a FreeBSD machine. I poked around the docs, but didn't actually try compiling. Any general approach or guides to building a freebsd version? > > Thanks in advance, > Mike > > > |
