Hi Jesper, It is strange it looks that it does not maybe work with maybe several profiles ?? At the first start, there is normally a copy of 1 file and 1 directory. To have SGML working you have to have - osp152.dll - and sgml-lib in c:\Program Files\firefox (or whatever directory your firefox uses) Marc Ps: cc to the mailing list for archiving Jesper Kristensen wrote: > No, i only find it in my profile dir: > > C:\Documents and Settings\Jesper\Application > Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\dqxu64r9.valid\extensions\{3b56bcc7-54e5-44a2-9b44-66c3ef58c13e} > > > And it does not make any differense if i copy it to either "C:\program > files\mozilla firefox" or "C:\Program Files\Bon Echo" > > Marc Gueury skrev: >> Hi Jesper, >> >> First time I see this. >> Can you check if you find osp152.dll in C:\program files\mozilla >> firefox ? >> >> Marc >> >> Jesper Kristensen wrote: >>> I tried to install this: >>> >>> http://htmlvalidator.sourceforge.net/mozilla/tidy_firefox_win_0831.xpi >>> >>> into this Firefox version: >>> >>> Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1b1) >>> Gecko/20060817 BonEcho/2.0b1 >>> >>> in a new profile. >>> >>> After restart i choosed "SGML Parser" in the dialog. >>> >>> I was then taken to this site: >>> >>> http://users.skynet.be/mgueury/mozilla/no_tidy_lib.html >>> >>> Symptoms: >>> - The validator is not visible anywhere >>> - The Location bar is blank, only displaying the favicon, but not >>> the url. >>> >>> I was not able to find any help i could use on the error page, >>> therefore i am asking you. Hi Jesper, Like you say it would be great. But I need to copy these 2 files in the Firefox directory. Unhappily, if I do not do it, it does not work for several reasons. - I am not able to let the nstidy.dll load the osp152.dll from the extension directory. - There are some problems when the user has strange characters in his user name on Windows. The directory of the extension contains the username and it gives errors. What means that I have to copy the sgml-lib too. Until now, I found no solution for both of this. Hi Jesper, Please give me 1) step by step to reproduce the issue. 2) Does it happen with Tidy and the SGML parser. 3) Just for a particular page ? 4) Are you admistrator on your machine ? It seems that it is the same type of problem you got last time. The program need to create a file in C:\Program Files\Bon Echo\tidy 5) Maybe the directory does not exists or the program is not able to create it for strange reason. I have never seen this. 6) Can you try the same with Firefox 1.5 ? To solve an issue, I need to reproduce it.
