Indeed, it was an older version of xerces. I thought it was the current version, but I guess not - all I did was replace it with your distributed version. I can now see in the output that it is returning values now where before there were none. However, now I get many lines of DEBUG information in the System.out, is that a setting that I've turned on unknowningly? A default? Can I turn it off?
