Yes, it handles this case.

That's strange - it's been working fine for me.    I wonder if it isn't 
able to resolve the url in the src tag.  If it isn't able to load the 
external file then you should see an error message like this:

[ERROR] HtmlPage - -Error loading javascript from 
[http://www.alphaworks.ibm.com/www.ibm.com/common/stats/stats.js] 
status=[404 Not found - file doesn't exist or is read protected [even 
tried multi]]

Are you seeing any log messages?
