I've just committed a patch of Daniel Gredler making the window the top scope for the JS engine, what should only be an 
internal thing but has although good consequences: some js code that I was testing and that had strange errors now works 
fine.
Therefore I recommend you to wait for this code to be available on the public CVS. I don't know what the current update 
delay is (I guess 2 or 3 hours).
