Because it isn't an <input>. From the javascript perspective, a text area
IS an input but for the HTML classes, the only subclasses of HtmlInput are
those that actually are <input> tags.

I don't know - I haven't seen any of those warnings yet. Is there a
publicly accessible site that gives warnings? ie something I can try?
