So, at what point will I be able to use this?  I see
some CVS commits, but when does that turn into a
downloadable version ( or CVS checkout version ) ?

I've been enjoying a three day weekend with the computer turned off and 
the build didn't get completed before the weekend started.  I expect to 
do the release tomorrow (Tuesday).
