#2 upgrade to struts 1.1

I came up with some ideas and solutions while working on
the project that uses HTMLTable. The one that is in the
topic is quite obvious, and you know about it, but
there are others.

So, if it's ok for me to submit the modified code
alongside with other ideas, just let me know.
