I'm in the process of re-writing the Linux version of Html SymboliZe in C--including the GUI--, and so far I've managed to create a working implementation of hsz, but I can't even think of how to approach unhsz at the moment. So I've decided to go ahead and deploy this pre_alpha release in the meantime. I haven't uploaded the tarball yet, but as soon as I get the Makefile ready to go and everything, then I'll upload the new tarball.
I was going to release this new version and--within reason--all future versions of Html SymboliZe under the terms of the Mozilla Public License version 2.0, but the MPL does not seem to protect anything but the actual source code, and then only for files that have the MPLed code thingy in their headers. How lame is that.
There really isn't enough time left in the day today for me to go through the Makefile of the Linux version and make the necessary changes to allow me to put out this new release just now. It'll have to wait for tomorrow or until such a time as the occasion to make such changes arises in my life and I actually feel like making them.
