Release notes for v1.12 beta (linux and windows)

Here's an excerpt from the release notes for the Linux version:

Version 1.12b.0
    + Added cut, copy, and paste items in the edit menu.  
    - Removed Boxsizers.  
    + Added GridBagSizer
    * Repositioned things slightly.  
    + Added some new functionality to the undo and redo menu items--that is, they can now grey out.  
    + Added clear menu item to edit menu. 
    + Added a taskbar icon/favicon thingy.  
    + Added a debug submenu to the Help menu
        + added Stats to the debug submenu
