It was created in Qt. Qt is developed by Nokia (http://qt.nokia.com).
Qt was designed for fast and easy programming in C++.
The needed libraries for the GUI and the Core are integrated in the binary files.

The background of this program is very simple. It scans the input text and searches for the Umlaute. It replaces them with the html entitie.
With Qt it is very simple to replace the Umlaute and design a GUI.

The only disadvantage of Qt is, that you need to have the Qt libraries.
So a sourcecode of 500 kb needs 15 MB of libraries.
