1) in the confirmation mail this line
 http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html. 
could/should be changed to
 http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html
(the trailing period causes page does not exist to be Shown.

2) Is there a readymade program that lets me parse an HTML file or do I have to 
write a (Java) program using the classes and methods provided.

As I don't know Java I would appreciate a finished program.
