I've also set up a general mailing list for the project....it would be cool if everybody could subscribe to it....
We would probably also need to decide on tools as we go forward. Say the JDK 1.3 for Linux for the programming. Does anybody know of a Java IDE we could use for Open Source development on Linux? What about Visualage for Java or JBuilder Foundation? How do we express our designs? In the UML? If so, are there any free tools out there which support UML modeling? If we use XML utilities to parse the HTML, where do we find an open source XML parser? Since we need to store the definitions of HTML documents from a past point in time so that we can do the diff, how do we store the definitions? As flat files? In a database such as MySQL or Postgresql? What program should we use for our documents? Should we store them all as HTML in the Doc section of the site or CVS them in after having used StarOffice or Abiword or Microsoft Word?
We also have a home page which at the moment is a dull directory listing...anybody particularly keen to fix up that aspect?

I have found a free UML unix modeling tool at www.togethersoft.com. It's called "Together Whiteboard".
