[htmltmpl] H::T ported to C?

Has anyone tried this XS implementation of HTML::Template?

I'm interested to hear whether it is really "10-25 times faster" than 
pure-perl HTML::Template and/or really 1-3 times faster than H::T with 
caching under mod_perl...
