some months ago i posted the message "what about a skip parsing tag". no anwer. OK.
then i decided to implement this in Template.pm
and i made some changes to this file to allow the tag tmpl_skip and /tmpl_skip.
it need just some code lines.
cause i think its a really important feature (i use it for all of my projects) i decided to mail this file to the project administrator to allow him to check it and eventually put it in the new release of the module (or i have to modify every release). no response. OK
now im writin this lines but i think no one will answer me.
the last question: is it an open souce project?...

Yes, HTML::Template IS an open source project

Yes, this is an open-source project.  Join the mailing-list!  I very rarely read this message board...  The interface really sucks.

As far as a skip-parsing tag...  I don't think I'm convinced that it's something I want to put in the main module code.  Could you do it as an add-on module using filter like HTML::Template::Expr?
