[htdig-dev] Strange behaviour in gdb / xxdgb

In trying to track down the problems using Sun's  cc,  I've run into=20
something new:  When I run
  VERBOSE=3D-vv make TESTS=3Dt_wordlist check
it reports an error: page 1 doesn't exist.  Fine.  When I run it once=20
within  gdb (in xxgdb)  it does the same thing.  Fine.  When I run it=20
a *second* time within the same session of  gdb  it repeatably passes=20
that point with no problems (and crashes later, but that's another=20
story...).

Any ideas?

For what it's worth, this problem occurs both with and *without*=20
compression.
