I agree. I'll give a look at Brian's utility for converting .cc in XML and 
viceversa and build the .cc file again with just the two attributes (name, 
value). However, we'd need to change the Configuration.[h,cc] files in the 
htlib, if I am not wrong.

I volounteer of doing that this week-end, if Geoff confirms me this is what 
need to be done.

Also, I still have to apply the 'execution time' feature from the 3.1.6 
(after release) code (well, I think so - now I can't control the code).
