Hi Gilles,

In absence of htdig-notification-date meta tag in any document, htdig
could add a number to the document date and use it instead.  The number
could be set to 180 days by default, and set in htdig.conf.

In absence of htdig-email meta tag in any document, htdig could use the
Link tag or Maintainer meta tag instead; if they were all absent, htdig
could use a htdig-email set in htdig.conf.  It could be set to maintainer
by default.  Only if set to blank, no notification would be sent in
absence of all of the above.
