I'm trying to compile htdig-3.1.6 on a RedHat 9 box and when I run:
./configure --prefix=/usr/local \
It fails with:
checking for ostream.h... no
checking for iostream.h... no
checking for fstream.h... no
configure: error: To compile ht://Dig, you will need a C++ library. Try
Now, I know that I have those include files here:
$ locate ostream.h iostream.h fstream.h
And I have libstdc++ installed...
$ rpm -qa | grep libstdc++
I ran ldconfig to make sure that stuff was up to date and still get this
Ideas are appreciated.
