I have installed the newest htdig on a solaris server. When I run
htdig -i I get the following message:
DB2 problem...: PANIC: File too large
DB2 problem...: /opt/oai/opus/FHGelsenkirchen/htdig/db/db.docdb:
write failed for page 1
htdig: Unable to open/create document database
I ran htdig as owner of all files concerned.
I have enough disk space - I think.
The files I am trying to index are well below the maximum size
allowed in the htdig.conf file.
What could cause this problem? How can I solve it?
Thanks a lot for your help

Is this happening right after you start htdig or after it has been
running for quite some time? Is it perhaps possible that one of your
database files is exceeding a 2 GB limit? Have you tried manually
deleting any existing ht://Dig database files before running htdig?
