I have a question about properly setting the locale values. I have
read through FAQ#5.8 and related links, but I am still confused.
Here is what I have setup. HtDig is installed under solaris and I
have located the locale files.
In htdig.conf I have the lines:
In my rundig script, I have the lines to set the environmental variable:
export LANG LANGUAGE
Am I missing anything?
I wanna use german language, but I can't get it to work!
i've added german.0 and german.aff in the common files folder, i've added=20
locale: de=5FDE in the conf file!
But still it aint indexing the german files correct that have non standart =
strings like =F6,=E4,=FC.... they are being cut at these strings!
I'm using 3.1.6 and Win2k! Any ideas? Every answer is welcome! Tnx!

I don't have any detailed knowledge regarding this particular locale, but
chances are that you aren't going to have much luck getting ht://Dig to
play nicely with anything involving Unicode. Adding Unicode support has
been discussed a number of time, but it is something that is not likely to
show up any time soon.
