Hi there,

I get the following compilation error while
running "make" after a successful compilation:

<<................................

I am trying to install the search engine on a HP-UX
platform using GNU compiler gcc-3.0.1. I read
somewhere that parts of the ostream library were left
out in versions 2.9.0 and above for the GNU compiler.
I am currently trying my best to install version 2.8.1
compiler together with the libstdc++-2.8.1 library. I
would appreciate any suggestions that come to mind
based on the pasted error output above.

Thanks,

Dimitre

    Try the 3.1.6 snapshot in
    http://www.htdig.org/files/snapshots/
Followup if the problem still exists in
    that code.
