on linux mandrake 2006, kernel 2.6.12, glibc 2.3.5
when lauching htdig, i can see with 'top' command,
that htdig uses 1,2 GO 'virtual memory'. At the
beginning, only 30m resident memory is used, but this
grows very quickly until all memory is eatten..
htdig 3.2.0b6 has been compiled with these options:
export CFLAGS="-D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE -
export CXXFLAGS="$CFLAGS -Wno-deprecated"
./configure --enable-bigfile --prefix=/opt/www/htdig-
3.2.0b6/ --enable-shared --with-zlib
