#168 htnotify fails, RedHat 8, htdig 3.1.6

htnotify appears to hang for about one minute, then
exits with the messahe "Aborted". A google on the topic
reslted in finding a patch for the same problen on Solaris.

I have the same problem on Mandrake 9.1 with htdig.3.2.0-06mdk.

I rebuild the package from source and the same problems occurs.

But I don't now how to recompile an rpm source whith
debugging option.
