No

Wouldn't it be nice... if each attribute entry in the
documentation of the configuration file indicated the
release when the feature was introduced.

For people who manage sites on multiple hosts, often
without root access, this would make it much easier to
configure digs/searches that work each time and debug
them when they don't.

For example:
******************************
url_rewrite_rules

type:
string list

used by:
htdig

>> available since version:
>> 3.1.6

default:
...
******************************

I'm using version 3.1.6, but my hosting services are
on 3.1.5 and "don't know"

Yes, we've set up the docs for the 3.2 releases to do this,
but it'd be a bit hard to "backport" to the 3.1.x docs. For
now, you can do this pretty simply by searching through the
RELEASE.html documentation, which mentions new attributes
for each release. So you could search for
"url_rewrite_rules" and see it was introduced in 3.1.6.

But when 3.2 stabilizes, the documentation will have exactly
    what you've mentioned.

    Thaat's good news about 3.2.
