Please let us know which version of htdig you're running.
Also, if it isn't one of the latest development snapshots
    (from http://www.htdig.org/files/snapshots/\) perhaps you
should give one of those a try. If it still fails, please
report back with a version number (and date if it's a
snapshot), information about which platform you're running
on (CPU, OS version & distribution), as well as a stack
backtrace taken from the core dump using gdb. See FAQ 5.14.

Sorry shoudl have include this.. this is Version 3.1.5 of
    ht://dig.

I have tried to download and install the 3.2.4 and 3.2.5
and can not get them to make.

There is no 3.2.5 or 3.2.4. I think you're confusing them
with the 3.2.0b4 development snapshots, of which there
should be one for each of the last 4 weeks. However, as
you're using 3.1.5, the natural progression would be to try
the 3.1.6 snapshot, which is normally refreshed every
Sunday. This past Sunday seems to be an exception, but the
Jan 13 snapshot should do fine.

    I don't think this can be a problem in 3.1.6 with Gilles's
new custom strptime code. (This appears to perhaps be a
problem with the old strptime code.)

In any case, without more information, it's impossible to
find the segfault, reproducible or not.

This bug is marked to be closed, pending new response.
