We have the pleasure to announce a new release, HTB-tools-0.2.7 stable. This version reduce the time necessary to load the configuration files for many clients (>1000 clients). For a configuration file with 1300 clients, the load time would take ~8 seconds for one network interface. After this change, the load time drops to ~2 seconds. If you establish the limits using /etc/rc.d/rc.htb start_eth0 you could see something like this: Starting HTB-tools on eth0 ... Checking the config file ...OK Checking kernel support for HTB: present. HTB-tools was successfully started on eth0 For more details, see the changelog. http://htb-tools.arny.ro -- Besides, I think Slackware sounds better than "Microsoft," don't you? - Patrick Volkerding |
