HSQLDB 2.2.8 Final Release

HSQLDB was featured as the SourceForge Project of the Month for January 2012.

This is the second release this month. It adds hot backup of database files and fixes a recently discovered issue with database recovery after a crash, present in 2.2.6 and 2.2.7. This version should be used for development and deployment in preference to all earlier 2.x releases. Also available on Maven.
