Hello, I've created an hsql server.properties file and added my db name and alias. I've started the hsqsl server in SERVER mode. I can connect to my db via the org.hsqldb.util.DatabaseManager tool. Now, in WSAD I'm trying to define a new JDBC Database connection. In the WSAD "DB Servers" view I choose "New Connection". A dialog pops up in which I have to specify the name of the db, the userid, and the database vendor type. Hsqldb is not listed amongst the vendors, only sql92, sql99, Cloudscape, db2, oracle, . I've tried with sql92 and sql99. I had to specify the jdbc driver (org.hsqldb.jdbcDriver), and the location of the class I:\xxx\hsqldb\lib\hsqldb.jar When clicking ok I got back an error dialog box. Unfortunatily it doesn't contain a message. Does anyone have an idea what I'm doing wrong ? Cheers, Edwin |
