    Hi,
    I am Raghu. We are using hsqldb 1.8.0.7.We have stored procedure in oracle and able to test that using oracle database connections successfully.I want to test the same stored procedure using static/In memory database.
    Is it possible to test stored procedure using in memory database?
    Please let me know if any one has any thoughts.

    Thanks,
    Raghu

    If you read the Guide on the web site, you will see there is extensive support for stored procedures written in SQL or Java. The SQL/PSM Standard syntax is somewhat different from PL/SQL.

    You need to use HSQLDB  version 2.0.

    Can you please give me sample example how u used stored prosedure  through temp/static/inmemory data base.
    Generally in in memory data database we are having inserts..when we are running Junits..temp table will be created with the data.we wont give any syntax related to  create table to use.

    Ex:
    INSERT INTO TestTable (Column1,column2)  VALUES (1, 'importedData');

    COMMIT;

    When we interact TestTable through Junit TestTableWill be created.
    Any thoughts how we need to give the syntax for stored procedure?

    Thanks,
    Raghu

    You can use stored procedures in all types of databases. See the Guide.

    Use the "script" command or check the information_schema tables.

    Please note that this is the wrong place to ask questions. Also, you need to read the Guide and try out the commands before asking questions.
